Fairchild Toast Recipe
Mmmmm. We made a Fairchild version of french toast this morning that was too tasty and easy not to share our original recipe!
Ingredients:
5 slices of Bread
6 slices of Bacon
6 slices of Bacon
8 Eggs
2 tbs Milk
2 tbs Milk
1/4 cup Sour Cream
shake of Onion Powder
squirt of Mustard
1/2 cup shredded Monterrey Jack Cheese
Instructions:
- Cook bacon in casserole dish putting in in cold oven and preheating to 400 degrees
- Beat together eggs, milk, sour cream, onion powder and mustard until frothy
- When oven reaches 400 degrees remove bacon and drop temperature to 350
- Set bacon on paper towels and drain the grease
- Line the bottom of the casserole dish with slices of bread
- Lay slices of bacon evenly on top of bread
- Sprinkle with cheese
- Pour egg mixture evenly starting with the outer corners and spiraling in until bread slices are saturated
- Bake for 25 - 30 min
The result might not be super nutritious but it sure is delicious. It's an easy way to serve bacon eggs and toast for breakfast in one simple dish!
Try our toast and let us know how it turns out!
